Benoît Aliaga: I am a PhD student at Host-Pathogen-Environment Interaction lab (University of Perpignan, University of Montpellier, CNRS, IFREMER and Labex CeMEB). I am supervised by Prof. Christoph Grunau and Dr. David Duval. My subject is about the comparison of non-models species epigenomes. My main research in this PhD is about the evolution of gene body DNA methylation across the eukaryotic tree of life.
Swanni Alvarado: I’m a postdoctoral researcher at Centre d’écologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive (CEFE-CNRS, Montpellier). I’m working in FORECAST team. My work aims to modeling the fire dynamic to characterize and monitor landscape changes, structure, ecosystem processes and recovery in tropical savannas.
Mar Sobral: I am an evolutionary ecologist working as a postdoctoral fellow at CEFE, CNRS, Montpellier. the core of my professional activity is on the one hand the evolutionary ecology of plant-animal interactions and on the other, the research on the impact of global change on biodiversity, particularly regarding ecosystem functions and services such as carbon storage.
Mónica Arias: I am an evolutionary biologist interested in the evolution of visual cues and chemical defenses triggered by predator-prey interactions. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Functional Ecology and Evolution (CEFE) in Montpellier, France, working with Dr. Doris Gomez.
Oljam Dervishi: I’m student in Master 2 for Agricultural management and territories at Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier and graduate for Agro-Environment engineering and Ecology at Agriculture University of Tirana. Interested for ecology and evolution, especially in Agro-Ecological Models.
