Ronan Becheler – PhD student (1st year), at the « Laboratoire Environnement Profond » (IFREMER, Brest), under the direction of Sophie Arnaud-Haond. I study the influence of intra-specific diversity on the demographic stability of populations. I use both theoretical work and field work.
François Blanquart – PhD student (2nd year) at the Centre d’Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive (Montpellier), under the direction of Sylvain Gandon. I am interested in adaptation to a temporally variable and spatially heterogeneous environment.
Benoit Goussen – PhD student (1st year) at the « Laboratoire de Radioécologie et d’Ecotoxicologie » (IRSN) and at the unit « Modèles pour l’écotoxicologie et la toxicologie » (INERIS). I am interested in adaptation and population dynamics of Caenorhabditis elegans using a bioenergetic approach. This involves experiments and modeling.
Etienne Loire – post-doc at the Roscoff biological station (team “Biologie Évolutive et Diversité Marine ») and at ISEM (team Integrative Genomic). I am interested in the interaction between reproductive isolation and local adaptation in structured populations.
Timothée Poisot – PhD student (3rd year) at the « Institut des Sciences de l’Evolution de Montpellier » under the direction of Michael Hochberg, in the team « Ecologie et Evolution des communautés ». I am interested in the evolution of specificity in coevolutionary systems. I use field work and experimental work together with models of the evolution of communities taking into account explicitly the dynamic of resources and populations.
